Since we announced the launch of NBdomain and the world first one character TLD — .B, we got a lot of positive feedbacks. We are happy to find out people do see the problems of the current domain system as we see.
But we know, reBuild internet is a long way to go. Most people/companies are still unaware they have a different option. We have to spread the words, we have to let more people know and understand. To archive that, we will build different programs to encourage traditional domain users to transfer to the bitcoin-based domain system — NBdomain.
NBdomain Referral Program
Now, I am glad to present the NBdomain Referral Program. Anyone who helps spread the words will get the chance to earn a commission from registration fees.
The program has started since the beginning of Sunrise registration. When the trademark owner applies his application, he will be able to fill in an NBdomain (.test domain) owned by the referrer, like the image below.
The rule of the current referral program is simple, shown below.

where 1020.test is the domain that will receive commission after the successful payment.
The power of NBdomain:
The program itself also shows one powerful feature of NBdomain: use NBdomain as a payment alias.
Every NBdomain can be used as a payment alias of the owner. The app can resolve the NBdomain name and get the owner’s bitcoin address, then send the payment to the owner. It greatly simplified the payment process and provide a much better user experience.
There is an open-source library that can be used to resolve NBdomain.
